Founded in 2005 as the Alfred R. Bader Award for Student Innovation, this award honors Alfred R. Bader's legacy as the co-founder of Aldrich Chemical Company. It also celebrates the spirit of creativity, innovation, and excellence in chemistry, which were hallmarks of Alfred R. Bader's career and contributions.
